Food and Drink Policy

Food and drink brought into the library may cause accidental damage to library collections, furnishings and equipment. This policy attempts to balance the risk of damage with the needs of Concordia students, faculty and staff.

• Covered drinks are allowed in the library but not the computer labs
• Snacks (e.g. granola bars) are allowed
• Dispose of garbage and recycle appropriately

All accidents should be reported immediately to library staff so damage can be minimized. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave the library or will have food or drinks confiscated. Failure to comply with library staff will be immediately referred to the Dean of Student Services or the High School Principal for appropriate disciplinary action.
