Services for Persons with Disabilities
Concordia Library offers the following services for individuals who require assistance.
General Services
Retrieval of Material
- Library staff will assist with retrieval of books and other materials.
- Library staff will take requests for available items by phone (479-9338), fax (417-6796) or email for pickup the following weekday.
Loan Periods
- Longer loan periods may be available. Contact Circulation Services at 479-9338 for assistance.
- Renewals can be made by phone or email or online using My Account
Information Services
- Research assistance provided at the Information Services Desk in person or by calling 479-9324.
- Questions may be sent to the virtual information desk (E-mail).
- Orientation sessions may be arranged through Dan Mirau (dan.mirau@concordia.ab.ca) or Lynette Toews-Neufeldt (lynette.toews-neufeldt@concordia.ab.ca).
Photocopying Library Materials
- Requests should be submitted at a Circulation Desk or by phone, fax, or e-mail, and include complete author, title, volume, page and call number information.
- There will be a charge of 20 cents per page for photocopying.
- Material will be held at the Circulation Desk for pick-up.

The following equipment and software is available in the Adaptive Technology Room (L266) located on the main floor of the library:

- A document projector to enlarge printed text
- A height-adjustable desk
